Directions for Use

Enjoy liberally spooned onto your favourite foods, in your cooking or straight from the jar as a golden syrupy treat full of natural goodness!  Many of our customers benefit from the antibacterial, antiviral and anti-inflammatory properties of our raw honey by using it to help heal wounds, relieve burns, cuts, coughs and sore throats.

If you skin feels red, sore or infected, then you can even try using our raw honey as a face mask!  Simply smear a layer over the skin, leave for 20 minutes and rinse with warm water

Please note: being natural and unpasteurised, our raw honey can present with a mixture of textures and colours.  Flavour notes can also vary seasonally, depending on which plants our bees have been busy collecting nectar from.  Crystallisation of honey is a perfectly natural process (hence why supermarket honey is heat treated to slow this down), and the time this takes depends on the source of the nectar. For example, pure rapeseed honey crystallises within a week and acaci takes up to two years.  Crystallisation does not affect the useability of the honey, however, if you prefer the texture of uncrystallised honey you can slowly melt the honey back to runny honey over a low heat such as in a bain-marie, on top of a radiator or in an airing cupboard for a few days.
